Songbook is the solo project of Nigel Sleaford. From touring with the Human League, recording with Edinburgh synth band The Indian Givers, through a long career in Moray as a school teacher and wedding singer (Maximum Bob, Ben Wyvis and the Last Resort), Nigel’s been obsessed with classic songwriting. Tonight, to complement The Wolves of Sutor, expect a carefully chosen set of songs which influenced the evolution of classic rock: Dylan, Morrison, Bowie, Mitchell, Cohen, always with a nod to the directness of the blues. Beautiful songs, beautifully sung.
